Biography

Tim Jackson started as the CEO of the Almond Board of Australia in October last year. He has worked in the almond industry for more than 16 years and has lived in the nation’s first irrigation settlement, Renmark, for the past 32 years. As a former regional newspaper editor and ABC radio presenter and small business owner, he has accumulated a career long understanding of the prevailing agribusiness issues and an appreciation of the integral role sustainable horticulture must play within the Southern Murray Darling Basin. Pollination is a core component the almond industry and strengthening a collaborative relationship with the nation’s beekeepers is a key focus for the Almond Board.
