Biography

Having been involved in bees all my life , at 17yrlds in 1981 I worked for a queenbee breeder called Murray Charlton (a well known queenbee breeder in the 1980s) and after that briefly worked for Norm Rice (another queenbee breeder) and then back to my families operation which was based completely on honey. After seeing so many changes over the years with new diseases and better machinary , I feel the entire industry needs some form of regulation as in the future pollination will become as impotant to the industry as honey production, and to be seen as a professional industry of worth providing quality products, changes will need to be continuously made to keep up.
