James Watts is a researcher based in Brisbane. He was trained in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Queensland working on novel antibiotics, small polypeptides in dementia research and strains of salt-tolerant fungi for biofertilizers and biopesticides. James’s business Whale Labs focuses on building innovative biotechnology products to make the world a better place. James has been involved with the Bee Keeping industry since 2016 when he initially started his research into small polypeptides for dementia. Since then he continued developing tools for to help beekeepers expanding their revenue streams which includes bee venom collecting and processing.
