Biography

Adrian is a very passionate apiarist who has accumulated years of experience in a short time from mentors and skilled experienced apiarist. He has only been working in the commercial bee keeping industry for 6 years. Prior to that he was helping his dad with his bees. It is hard to believe all of this has come from working in a garage with his father, talking about trying to calm down cranky hives and who would do the painful job of requeening it.  He soon realised there was a queen market for hobbyist bee keepers and The Bee Farmer was born.

He worked with some of the industry leaders, including mentor Warren Taylor, gaining knowledge and solid skills before setting out to produce a quality product through high standards and passion.

His intentions are not to grow his business to large scale with staff but to keep it manageable and high quality with enjoyment. To continue working with Plan Bee to monitor relatedness of stock and to now focus on instrumental insemination services to improve honey bee traits for himself and clients.
