Biography

Ros completed a BSc at The University of Sydney and PhD (Zoology) at The University of Oxford. In 2014, Ros took up a University of Sydney Postdoctoral Fellowship to work on the evolutionary ecology and genetics of bees, focusing on Australia’s invasive population of Apis cerana. Ros continued bee research throughout a 4-year Lectureship in Evolutionary Biology at the USYD’s School of Life and Environmental Sciences. In 2022, Ros began as an ARC DECRA Fellow researching the evolutionary ecology of native Australian bees.
